Parts of a goddess’ statue made of clay. Preserved are part of the goddess’ arm and a frontal fragment of the dress she wore. The long garment, perhaps a peplos with long sleeves is richly decorated with elaborate motifs. The central part of the skirt is adorned with rectangular panels depicting small animals. The biggest undamaged panel shows a young lion walking to the viewer’s right framed with vertical bands. The latter are formed by inscribed volutes and palmettes rendered in dark colour. A small part decorated also with vertical panels which contain water birds belongs to the goddess’ sleeve. Each rectangular panel’s background is covered in painted linear motifs that may have imitated the cloth’s texture.
